Proofreading / Editing

One of the most frustrating things is finding a typo, grammatical error or spelling mistake in a document that has been published or printed – especially if the author of the document features your name. Even more frustrating is if the mistake cannot be revised or edited. It can, however, be prevented, by submitting the document first to a fresh pair of eyes for proofreading and editing.

While proofreading in our definition is to check your document for spelling, grammar and punctuation errors, editing goes into more detail and looks at the sentence structure, flow of text, and readability of the entire document. Depending on the document that you submit to us, we will recommend the best service for it, along with our reasons why, so that you know exactly what you will be receiving when we return the document back to you.

We have served countless students, lecturers, and business owners with this service, and we are ready to help you, too.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Once you send over the document, we will provide a quotation with our recommendation for the type of editing that the paper needs. This will be determined based on the language accuracy, grammar and flow of the paper. You will be informed exactly what your paper needs, and what our service will cover to address those needs.

It is only recommended to proofread the whole paper again if you want to ensure that the new paragraphs flow well together with the original content. Otherwise, you are free to only highlight the new parts that need editing, so we will only charge for the services you want.

Our pricing is based on A4, normal margins, Times New Roman size 12, 1.5 spacing, all images/diagrams and most tables removed.

No, you may send the actual paper. We will count the pages to price the service as per the above specifications, but will proofread/edit on the actual paper that you sent.
